BIO

Salvo Di Piazza is an Italian guitarist, composer, arranger and educator whose work spans composition, music production, live performance and teaching.

Growing up with influences ranging from rock, blues and fusion to jazz and contemporary music, he has developed a personal musical language focused on melody, expressive improvisation and refined arrangements.

Alongside his artistic career, he has worked as a session guitarist, arranger and producer on numerous recording projects while performing in orchestras, festivals and concert venues in Italy and abroad.

His debut solo album, currently in production, marks the beginning of a new artistic chapter dedicated to his own original music.


EDUCATION

  • Master’s Degree (110/110 cum laude) in Jazz Guitar
    Conservatorio “V. Bellini” – Palermo, Italy
  • Master’s Degree (110/110 cum laude) in Jazz Composition & Arranging
    Saint Louis College of Music – Rome, Italy

Alongside his artistic career, Salvo combines concert activity, recording sessions and composition with an extensive teaching career in the Italian public education system.
